21 accents in 2 1/2 minutes

Hi all, while you are enjoying your holidays, have a look at this video. Amy Walker introduces herself in 21 different accents, mostly English in just 2 and a half minutes.

Did you think learning English was a question of getting the right accent? What do you think now?

  1. almost very similar to pronunciation but I like english accent.

  2. Do you mean all the different English accents sound similar, but you prefer the British one?
It's very clear isn't it? What about the Aussie ones? SHe's got two, one brader and the other one more average. Can you tell the difference?

  3. The tone and speed are different between English accent and Aussi one .Aussi one is quickly .I fell in one brader speaker open her mouth much more and eat more word,so she speaks unclearly.I ever listen to this pronouncation in Sdyney, maby Australia original people speak English like that brader one?

  4. I'm noat surer where the broader Aussie accent comes from, May.In Sydney you can hear all different types of Aussie accent. It's easier to understand the average Autralian accent, as spoken at the ABC. Although some presemters, like Richard Glover, have a very strong accent. They say "Austraian" instead of Australian!
